So long expected cargo arrived safely on 30th of September, 2019. Four ambulances with medical equipment (produced in Japan) were donated by Embassy of Japan to Public Foundation “Rescue in the mountains” and Family medicine centers of Aksuu and Kemin regions. Ambulances were provided in the grant scheme of Japanese government’s Grassroots Human Security Projects. One of the priorities of the project is public health, providing emergency and instant medical care. The goal of the project is improving and expanding of medical services in mountain areas.
Carriages are off the rails; custom clearance and other formalities are in the past, but the project is not finished yet. We have more plans ahead: seminars and training courses for drivers and the solemn ceremony handover of ambulances to grantees.
